About The Artist


Ariana Lapentti is a costume designer and editorial stylist born and raised in Ecuador. With a strong foundation in both the entertainment and art industries, Ariana is passionate about using garments as a medium to create visually compelling narratives. In addition to her creative work, Ariana is deeply committed to community engagement and currently serves as the president of Webster University’s Latin American / Hispanic Student Organization (LAHSO). 

At Webster University’s Sargent Conservatory of Theatre Arts, Ariana designed costumes for The Spitfire Grill and is currently working to design the big Spring musical, Cinderella. Professionally, she has designed costumes for The Black Rep’s 3 touring productions: What She Said, Jabari Dreams of Freedom, and The Secret Gallery: African Art Adventures. Assistant Costume Designer credits include As You Like It for the St. Louis Shakespeare Festival, and Athena for the Repertory Theatre of St. Louis.
